Company Formation in Montenegro (DOO)

The most common business structure in Montenegro is the DOO,
equivalent to a Limited Liability Company.
It offers flexibility, low cost, and is ideal for foreign entrepreneurs.

The minimum share capital is only €1.
A registered business address in Montenegro and at least one appointed
director are required.

residence and work permit. Both permissions are issued on a single card.

Requirements

The initial permit is issued for 1 year and can be renewed annually,
provided that the company remains active and tax/social obligations are fulfilled.

Directors must be registered as insured employees.

Family Reunification

Spouses and children under 18 may apply for residence permits
after the director obtains their own permit.
